Senior Site Health and Safety Manager

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement safety programs on heavy construction projects.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

  • Conduct safety inspections and audits.

  • Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents.

  • Develop and deliver safety training programs.

  • Collaborate with project teams to promote a safe work environment.

  • Manage safety documentation and reporting.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management. and 7 years construction safety, general industry safety, or construction management or;

  • Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management. and 9 years construction safety, general industry safety, or construction management or;

  • High School Diploma/GED and 11 years construction safety, general industry safety, or construction management.

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.

  • Proven experience in construction safety.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driver's license.

 

Required Certifications and Experience:

  • OSHA: Deep understanding of OSHA Construction and General Industry standards.

  • Industry Standards: Proficiency in ANSI, NIOSH, CoE EM 385-1, and NEC standards.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

Base Salary:

Up to $40/hr
