Director of Field Operations

 

Overview

Lead and develop a high-performing team of field service technicians and installation specialists. Drive operational excellence in service repair and new customer installations. Ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery. Regular travel to sites within companies footprint. (OH/IN/MI/IL/WI) For those not living in the South Bend, IN area, a relocation package is possible.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor field teams. Foster a high-performance culture with both employees and sub-contractors.

  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for efficient service delivery. Identify and implement process improvements.

  • Performance Management: Track KPIs, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Customer Focus: Oversee customer installations, address customer issues, and gather feedback.

  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage budgets, optimize resources, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications field operations management.

  • Full Clean Drivers License (Company vehicle and Gas Card will be provided)

  • Proven leadership and team management experience. (Teams of 50+)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Technical proficiency in telecommunications technologies.

  • Project management and data analysis skills.

 

Base Salary

$130K/yr - $150K/yr + Bonus
